What Every Classroom Shares
Learning together. Kids work in small groups and learn from each other.
Play-based days. A healthy mix of planned activities and free play.
All five senses. Hands-on lessons kids can see, hear, touch, smell, and taste.
Kindness, every day. Sharing, empathy, and problem-solving are part of the plan.

Meals and snacks. Breakfast, lunch, and snack are included through the USDA school food program.
A Peek at a Typical Day
Every room follows a steady routine so kids know what's coming next. A day often moves like this:
1. Warm hellos and free play
2. Morning circle: songs, stories, and the plan for the day
3. Small-group centers and hands-on projects
4. Outdoor play
5. Lunch and quiet rest
6. Afternoon snack, art, and more play
7. Pickup and a quick chat about the day
Not Sure Which Room Fits?
Kids grow at their own pace, and birthdays don't always line up neatly. Tell us about your child, and we'll help you find the right room. For VPK, Florida's age cutoff decides the year: your child must turn 4 on or before September 1.
Help Paying for Care
Florida VPK is free for eligible 4-year-olds once we're approved.
School Readiness helps eligible Seminole County families pay for child care once we're approved.
