How We Learn: Learn, Play, Discover
At Explorations, "Learn, Play, Discover" is how we plan every single day. Our family of child care centers has been caring for young children since 2014, and we're bringing that same warm, play-based approach to our new school in Oviedo, FL for infants through Pre-K.
Play With a Purpose
For young children, play is how big ideas get tested and understood. Our days mix teacher-guided activities with open-ended free play, so children get gentle structure plus plenty of room to follow their own curiosity.
Small Groups, Real Attention
Much of our learning happens in small groups. Children share ideas, take turns, and solve problems together, and teachers can get to know each child's interests and needs.
Learning Through All Five Senses
We plan hands-on experiences children can see, hear, touch, smell, and taste. Sensory learning makes new ideas concrete and gives every kind of learner a way to shine.
Kindness Is Part of the Curriculum
In our classrooms, kindness gets as much practice as letters and numbers. Children learn to name their feelings, show empathy, include friends, and use words to work through problems.
A Family Feel
Explorations is a close-knit community where families are true partners. We keep you in the loop on your child's day, and breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack are included through the USDA food program.
